Thanks DanCherek for the invitation to the teahouse (and excuse me, but I have to use a translation program to write, because my knowledge of English still leaves something to be desired ;-)).
I also read your comment on the VSN Wiki page and do I understand it correctly that it looks to you like an advertising page for my own website ?
That is not the case and certainly not the intention. My intention is to provide reliable information, while it is certainly also the case that I get information out of first hand and therefore have to watch out to guard my neutrality properly.
Apart from that, things work slightly differently on the English Wikipedia than on the Dutch Wikipedia. I will certainly make use of the help desk, but I also need time for that ... (To find my way around and ask questions properly).
- Hi Diederickdan, I've replied to your message on my talk page. Let me know if you have additional questions. DanCherek (talk) 12:10, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm The Banner. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to VSN have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. The Banner talk 13:15, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- Your opinion on Wikipedia seems to me to be crystal clear. (What I wonder about that is what room you want to leave when it doesn't match what you believe ?). And what you can safely take from me is that I'm getting a little sick of the way you think you should and can act. (A job with the Dutch police, preferably in the province of Groningen, perhaps an idea?) Diederickdan (talk) 13:20, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at VSN. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. - @DanCherek: Ok, thanks for the explanation. Diederickdan (talk) 15:36, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:VSN Wiki
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:VSN Wiki, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 1989 (talk) 14:49, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
